Islam Khattab has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering roles. Islam started their career at Raya Software as an intern in 2008. Islam then worked as a freelancer at El-ABD Plastic Company in 2009 and AWA Pharmathuticals in 2011, where they conducted analysis, design, and development for various systems.

In 2011, Islam joined ASSET Technology Group as a Junior Sharepoint Software Developer, working on the Family Development Foundation team. There, they were responsible for the development and maintenance of a publishing SharePoint variation site.

Islam then joined ITWorx in 2012 as a SharePoint Software Engineer. Islam developed project documents, managed project code development, and provided technical support for SharePoint 2013 environments. Islam also conducted trainings for developers and performed user acceptance testing. Islam progressed to the role of Senior SharePoint Software Engineer before transitioning to a Lead Software Engineer role.

In 2020, Islam joined DoZen as a Principal Software Engineer. Islam was part of the Architecture team responsible for designing and implementing various product modules. DoZen is a digital employee experience platform built on Sitecore XP.

Most recently, in 2022, Islam returned to ITWorx as a Principal Software Engineer. Islam is currently a key member of the ITWorx Digital Experience (DX) vertical, where they are involved in pre-sales activities, building custom demos, and providing tailored solutions to new customers.

Overall, Islam Khattab has gained extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in SharePoint development and leading software teams.

Islam Khattab attended Ain Shams University from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. During their time at the university, they achieved the distinction of Very Good with honor. In addition to their major in Computer Science, they also studied Information Systems and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences.
