Dr. Carmen Thoma

Dr. Carmen Thoma is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in online studies and operations management. Currently serving as Geschäftsführerin and COO of Online Studies at IU Internationale Hochschule, Dr. Thoma has also held the position of Director of Online Operations. Previous roles include Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at Seminar für Wirtschaftstheorie, LMU München, and various internships and student positions at Paragon Partners, Rothschild, and Bain & Company. Dr. Thoma earned a Dr. oec. publ. in economics from Munich Graduate School of Economics, LMU München, and attended Columbia Business School in 2013.
