Camila Perez Gabilondo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and outreach within environmental organizations. Currently serving as the Event Communications Manager at IUCN since September 2018, Camila has played a pivotal role in managing outreach initiatives, project collaborations, and event productions, including the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2021. Prior to IUCN, Camila was with the Global Environment Facility from March 2012 to September 2018, where key responsibilities included communications at corporate and program levels, supporting global environmental benefits through effective stakeholder engagement. Additional experience includes a role as Events Co-Chair for the Global Youth Conference at the World Bank and various internships that enhance Camila’s background in communications and international relations. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Language & International Studies from American University.
