Ellie Staniforth

Ellie Staniforth is a Ruby on Rails Developer at IUCN since March 2025, and previously worked as a Software Engineer at Honeypot.io from June 2022 to March 2025, as well as at CoverWallet from August 2019 to June 2022, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. from July 2018 to July 2019. Prior to the technology sector, Ellie served as a Waitress at The Wee Lochan from October 2012 to June 2018 and held roles as a Summer Intern at The University of Glasgow in July 2017 and a Chronobiologist at The University of Edinburgh in June and July 2017. Education includes a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow (2014-2018) and participation in a Summer School program focusing on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Culture at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
