Isa Elegbede

Isa Elegbede, ACIS, PMP, and FEC fellow, currently serves as an Expert Member for the United Nations Ocean Decade Vision 2030 and holds an advisory position with the Ocean Enterprise Initiative of the Marine Technology Society. Isa also acts as Deputy Chair for the IUCN CEESP TGER and has been a Future Earth Coasts Fellow since February 2021. Academic roles include Senior Personnel/Postdoctoral at Loyola Marymount University and a prior position as a Doctoral Researcher at Brandenburg University of Technology, where research focused on environmental sciences. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Consultant for IUCN, a Diaspora Expert at GIZ, and as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Lagos. Isa's educational background includes a PhD in Environmental Sciences and multiple degrees in marine sciences and resource management from renowned institutions.
