Liza Murphy

Liza Murphy is a seasoned professional in conservation management and sustainable supply chain development, currently serving as the Head of the Conservation Management Assurance Team at IUCN since January 2023. Murphy has extensive experience as the Director of Are We There Yet from April 2015 to January 2023, where important contributions included co-authoring a review of Environmental Risk in the Natural Rubber sector and advising on strategic marketing efforts for major suppliers in the food and agribusiness sectors. Previous roles include Board Member at Nepcon, Senior Manager at FLOCERT, and Managing Director at Forest Stewardship Council, among others. Murphy's educational background includes a Certificate in Conservation Biology from Columbia University's SIPA and a B.S. in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University.
