Nadia Mujica

Nadia Mujica is currently the Gerente de proyectos GEF/GCF para America Latina at IUCN, a position held since August 2023. With a robust background in project management, Nadia previously served as GEF/GCF Project Task Manager for Mesoamerica at FAO from September 2018 to August 2023, and as Environment & Climate Change Programme Associate at UNDP from December 2009 to March 2018, overseeing significant environmental and energy projects. Earlier roles include work as a researcher at Universidad del País Vasco and experiences in diplomatic service with the Embassy of Turkey in Venezuela and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Venezuela. The educational qualifications include multiple degrees in fields related to environmental management, international economic law, and international relations from prestigious institutions.
