Nishant Jain

Nishant Jain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and research within environmental and resource disciplines. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at IUCN since July 2022, Nishant previously held the position of Senior Research Manager at Sambodhi Research and Communications Pvt. Ltd. from June 2019 to July 2022. Prior roles include Associate Fellow and Research Associate at TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute between April 2015 and May 2019, and Student at the Indian Institute of Forest Management from June 2013 to March 2015. Additional experience includes an Associate Intern role at TERI during May 2014 and a Senior System Engineer position at Infosys Ltd. from November 2010 to June 2013. Nishant holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management with a specialization in Environmental Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology.
