David Brown currently serves as the I.U.E.C Local 32 President and has held various roles within the International Union of Elevator Constructors, including Vice President and Instructor, focusing on training new apprentices in elevator and escalator systems. As an I.T.S Field Service Engineer at TK Elevator since March 2022, David specializes in elevator troubleshooting and engineering across North America. Previously, David was a Modernization Foreman at KONE Americas Elevators, overseeing the integration of new systems with older elevator technology to ensure compliance with safety standards. David’s early career includes service as a Field Mechanic at thyssenkrupp Elevator, where relationships with customers were prioritized while servicing and repairing elevators. David holds a degree in Vertical Transportation Engineering from Florida A&M University and has completed advanced training in modernization control systems and drive systems through KONE and thyssenkrupp.
