Thomas McElroy

Thomas McElroy began their work experience as a Validation Microbiologist III at STS duoTEK, Inc. from March 1999 to August 2003. Thomas then worked at Unither Pharmaceuticals, starting as a Bioanalytical Scientist I from August 2003 to March 2016. Thomas was promoted to Bioanalytical Scientist II from March 2016 to October 2017, and eventually became the Microbiology Supervisor from October 2017 to May 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Microbiology Manager/Principal Scientist at iuvo BioScience since August 2018. Throughout their career, Thomas McElroy has been involved in various roles that encompassed laboratory activities coordination, microbiological test data approval, training, method validations and transfers, stability studies, quality control testing, and evaluation of sterilization processes.

Thomas McElroy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, where they studied between 1994 and 1998. Later, between the years of 2005 and 2010, they pursued graduate level coursework towards a Master's degree in Microbiology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
