Maëlle Zimmermann

Maëlle Zimmermann is a Senior Data Scientist at IVADO Labs, starting in June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Data Scientist at IVADO Labs starting in September 2019 and continuing until June 2022. Before joining IVADO Labs, Maëlle was a PHD Student at Université de Montréal from June 2015 to August 2019 and also served as a Teaching Assistant from September 2016 to December 2018. Maëlle worked as a Research Assistant at Kungliga tekniska högskolan from September 2014 to March 2015. Additionally, Maëlle gained experience as an Intern at MeteoSwiss from August 2013 to January 2014 and as a Research Assistant at EPFL in February 2013.

Maëlle Zimmermann has a strong educational background in applied mathematics. Maëlle started their education at Gymnase de Nyon from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Cantonal Maturity with distinction in Latin. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2009 to 2012.

Maëlle then furthered their studies and obtained a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne from 2012 to 2014. During their academic journey, they also had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus Exchange Program at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2011-2012, specializing in applied mathematics.

Continuing their academic exploration, Maëlle spent a brief period at Université de Montréal in 2014 as a visiting student, focusing on applied mathematics.

Additionally, Maëlle holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English, which they obtained in December 2007 from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
