Aurélie Labbe is a full professor in data science at HEC Montréal, where they have been teaching since 2016. Currently, they serve as the scientific co-director at IVADO since 2023. Prior to this, Labbe held positions as an associate and assistant professor in biostatistics at McGill Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences from 2013 to 2016, and was an investigator at the Douglas Research Centre from 2009 to 2016. They began their academic career as an assistant professor in statistics at Université Laval from 2005 to 2008. Labbe earned a PhD in statistics from the University of Waterloo in 2005, alongside various degrees in mathematics and statistics from institutions in France and Canada.
