Romain Favand has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Romain started their career as an Application Engineer at MEMSCAP in 2001 and then moved on to STMICROELECTRONICS in 2003, where they served as a Program manager for I/O platforms for integrated circuits until 2008. Romain then joined Satin Technologies as a Senior Product Manager from 2008 to 2014.

In 2014, Romain transitioned to SATT AxLR, where they took on the role of Business Development Manager - Technology Transfer. Romain excelled in managing the transfer of technology and intellectual property from academic research centers to industry, with a specialization in electronics, computer science, and connected health. Romain successfully increased sales through portfolio improvement, reevaluating business strategies, and establishing strong customer relationships. Romain played a key role in market research analysis, patent portfolio evaluation, negotiation of license deals with national and international companies, and providing support to start-ups in developing their business models and plans.

Most recently, Romain joined Ivalua in 2017, initially as a Senior Project Manager before transitioning to the role of Director - IT projects in 2020.
