Sandra Casas Cortina has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sandra most recently worked at Ivalua as the Head of ClientOps AMER, where they were responsible for maintaining and expanding the company's IT environments in the Americas. Sandra implemented new processes, procedures, and improvements to their IT processes while managing a multicultural team of technical specialists.

Prior to that, Sandra worked at Avertra Corp, starting as a Senior .NET Developer and progressing to roles such as Database Administrator & DevOps, Global Technical Lead, Director of Engineering, and Director of DevOps. In these positions, they established procedures and processes for SQL Server Database Management and Administration, improved products through performance tuning and troubleshooting incidents, implemented backup and recovery strategies, introduced the use of Azure, and provided support to developers in query writing.

Sandra also worked at SVAM International Inc. as a .NET Senior Developer, focusing on migrating applications and configuring web applications and IIS. At Hildebrando for Esurance, Inc., an All State company, Sandra worked as a .NET Senior Developer, specializing in development on the .NET Framework, database management, and issue resolution.

Sandra's experience also includes a role at Tata Consultancy Services for Bank of America as a .NET Senior Developer. Here, they served as a Backup Project Leader, programmed web applications and web services, provided production support, and supported ISO audit processes.

Sandra began their career at RECO as a .NET Senior Developer & Database Administrator. In this role, they developed various software solutions, performed database administration and development tasks, and served as a SCRUM Master for the SCRUM Agile Framework.

Sandra's first job was as a Programmer Analyst for Tenaris Group at Sistemas Integrados de Tecnología de Información S.A de C.V. Here, they designed and implemented web sites, created and altered databases, and worked with various development platforms and languages.

Sandra Casas Cortina obtained their Bachelor of Administrative Computer Systems degree in Software and Database Development from Universidad Veracruzana, completing their education from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degree, Sandra has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2019, the Microsoft Azure: Architecting Azure Infrastructure certification from LinkedIn in May 2019, and the Microsoft Azure: Security Concepts certification from LinkedIn in April 2019. Sandra also obtained the Learning Jenkins certification from LinkedIn in March 2019, the Microsoft Azure: Networking Concepts certification from LinkedIn in March 2019, and the Automation Specialist Level 1 for Tricentis Tosca 10.x and 11.x certification from Tricentis in February 2019. Other certifications include Customer Service in the Field and Delivering Bad News to a Customer, both obtained from LinkedIn in January 2019. Sandra also holds the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance, earned in September 2018, the Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in February 2015, and the Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate, Oracle Database 11g: Administration I, and Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I certifications, all earned from Oracle in December 2012.
