Valerie Vashchenko

Valerie Vashchenko has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Valerie currently holds the position of Vice President Finance at Ivalua as of June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Atrium as the Head of Finance from November 2018 to September 2020. At Atrium, Valerie was responsible for building the company's financial planning, controllership, and accounting operations. Valerie developed the financial planning and analysis function, implemented a metric-driven SaaS revenue model, and rolled out audit-compliant Quote to Cash process. Valerie also converted the company's financials from QuickBooks to NetSuite and led various tax filing and restructuring projects. Valerie also has experience as a Finance Director at Perfect World Entertainment from May 2016 to October 2018, where they led a finance team and supported strategic initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Manager at McKesson from August 2013 to May 2016, managing finance operations and income recognition activities. Valerie's earlier roles include Senior Financial Analyst positions at Shutterfly from June 2010 to March 2013, Financial Analyst at Phacil, Inc from February 2009 to May 2010, and Financial Analyst at Symantec Corporation from March 2005 to May 2007.

Valerie Vashchenko completed their MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University between 2007 and 2009. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Vena Training from Vena Solutions in October 2021, NetSuite Administrator Fundamentals from Oracle in January 2020, Six Sigma Black Belt from Lynda.com in May 2017, Six Sigma Green Belt from McKesson in February 2015, and the Emerging Leader Program from McKesson in January 2015.
