Cassandra Joseph

Ms. Joseph is an accomplished U.S. mining industry legal executive with over 20 years of experience in corporate, environmental, and intellectual property law. Before joining Ivanhoe Electric in February of 2023, Ms. Joseph was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Nevada Copper in Reno, Nevada. Prior to Nevada Copper, she served as Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer for Reno, Nevada-based Tahoe Resources prior to its sale to Pan American Silver. Ms. Joseph also worked in the Nevada Attorney General's Office, representing the Division of Environmental Protection, the Division of Water Resources, and other agencies within the Department of Natural Resources. She holds a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
