Catherine Barone

Catherine Barone has served as Senior Vice President, Finance since November 21st, 2022 and Interim Chief Financial Officer from April 2021 to November 20th, 2022. Ms. Barone was appointed CFO of HPX in 2016 after serving as Vice President, Finance since 2015. From 2002 to 2014, she held a series of senior finance positions at Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (now Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd.) including Vice President, Finance. Ms. Barone is a member of the board of CGI, as well as the Company's directly-held Canadian subsidiaries.

Ms. Barone hold a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia. Ms. Barone is a Chartered Accountant (Australia) and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Ms. Barone has over 25 years of finance experience focused on the mining industry. Ms. Barone currently resides in British Columbia, Canada.
