Andreas Schmid

Andreas Schmid has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the software industry. Andreas started their career as a Service Techniker at COMWorld GmbH in 2001 and worked there until 2006. Andreas then joined Software Spectrum GmbH as a Technical Consultant for a few months in 2006. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at five(9)s GmbH, initially as a Senior Consultant and later as a Manager Consulting. In 2013, they transitioned to LANDESK Software and served as a Professional Services Consultant until 2017. During this time, they also started their own consulting business, Andreas Schmid Consulting, where they worked as a Freelancer from 2016 to 2016, providing project analysis and guidance to clients. In 2016, they joined Ivanti, initially as a Professional Services Consultant and then progressed to roles such as Senior PreSales Consultant, Expert Manager ESM, Sales Engineering Manager, and eventually Director of Sales Engineering for Central and Eastern Europe in 2021. Overall, Andreas Schmid has accumulated extensive experience in sales, consulting, and management roles within the software industry.

Andreas Schmid attended IHK Akademie Schwaben from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Certificate in IT Business Management (ITBM). In July 2019, they obtained the ITIL 4 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In May 2018, they also received a certification as a Great Demo! Practitioner from Great Demo!. Additionally, in December 2015, they obtained a certification in MS: Windows 7, Configuring from Microsoft.
