David McDaniel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. David began their career in the US Army, where they served as a Staff Sergeant and gained experience in rifleman and leadership roles. After leaving the military, David worked as a Machine Operator at Current Inc, where they operated various machines and utilized computer technology for job data entry and audit purposes. David then transitioned to a Quality Auditor position at Quantum, where they utilized engineering drawings and instructions to assess the acceptability of procured materials.

David later joined Gateway as a Technical Support Professional, where they excelled in customer service and achieved high performance metrics. David then moved on to Hewlett-Packard as a Desktop Technician, providing support to a large sales staff and managing server accounts.

In 2005, David joined the United States Olympic Committee, initially as a Desktop Tech II, providing support to over 600 staff members across multiple locations. David later advanced to the role of Mgr. Technical Ops Support, where they spearheaded cost-saving initiatives such as print management deployment and mobile device management implementation. As an Associate Director Technical Ops Support, David led the organization's transition to Office 365 and the incorporation of IT service management practices.

David's career continued to progress in the software industry, with roles at Cherwell Software and Ivanti. At Cherwell Software, they served as a Product Support Team Lead, focusing on the support of partner networks and APAC regions. At Ivanti, David currently works as a Technical Support Manager, overseeing the support operations and leading a team.

David McDaniel attended Widefield High School from 1982 to 1984. David did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field during their time there. Later, in 1993, David enrolled in the Computer Science Program at the University of Maryland Global Campus. It is not specified when they completed or if they obtained a degree from this program.

Additionally, David has obtained several certifications throughout their career. David completed the ITIL Foundation Level certification offered by AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2015.
