Shane Riley has over 30 years of work experience in various industries. Shane started their career in the US Navy, where they served as a Torpedoman, Aviation Ordnanceman, Gunner's Mate, and Security personnel. After leaving the Navy, Shane worked as a Blasting Technician at Lost Dutchman Construction Co. and as a Tieg Welder/QA Inspector at SAES – Parker Ultra High Purity Valve Company.
In 1995, Shane joined Newmont Gold as a Surveyor, where they were responsible for layout and control point surveys. Shane then moved on to Barrick Goldstrike Mines Inc. as a Computer Systems Specialist, providing IT support and troubleshooting for end users.
In 2000, Shane joined Hewlett Packard - Market Star as a National NetServer Training Specialist. In this role, they provided technical sales and customer service, as well as reseller support and training.
From 2004 to 2016, Shane worked at LANDESK Software in various roles. Shane started as an LDMS Technical Support Engineer, providing customer service and technical solutions. Shane then became a Technical Account Manager, where they served as a single point of contact for major accounts and traveled to customer sites for installations and troubleshooting. Shane later became a Senior Service Desk Consultant and implemented service desks for LANDesk customers.
Since 2016, Shane has been working at Ivanti. Shane initially joined as a Service Desk Staff Consultant, where they implemented and tailored service desks for customers. Shane then transitioned to Partner Enablement, before taking on the role of Delivery Partner Services Manager. Currently, Shane works as the Global Partner Program Manager.
Throughout their career, Shane has gained extensive experience in customer service, technical support, and project management. Shane has also developed strong skills in ITIL guidelines, software installation, and configuration.
Shane Riley obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stevens-Henager College, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications in Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) from LinkedIn, which they obtained in September 2021, and Certified Administrator for Service Manager from Ivanti, which they achieved in September 2019.
