Philip Baer

Philip Baer is currently the Chair of the Section on Rheumatology at the Ontario Medical Association and a member of the Board of Directors for the Ontario Rheumatology Association. Since 2011, Philip has served as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of the Canadian Rheumatology Association, a role that continues today. Philip held the position of President at the Ontario Rheumatology Association from 2020 to 2022 and has also served as Past President and Vice President. Additionally, Philip has worked as a Medical Director at ivari since 2015 and previously at Transamerica Life Canada from 2004 to 2015. Philip earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from McGill University between 1975 and 1980.
