Pedro Silva

Pedro Silva has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Pedro started their career at VASP as a Performance Engineer in 1985 and worked there until 1990. Pedro then joined Procter & Gamble and held various positions including Production Manager, Materials Manager, HR Manager, Media Manager, External Relations Director, and Media Director. In 1999, Pedro joined ABA as a VP and stayed there until 2009. In 2002, they briefly worked at Interfarma as a Director. In 2006, Pedro became the President and CEO of IVC Brasil. Pedro served in that position until 2014 when they became the Global President of IFABC - International Federation of Audit Bureaux of Certification, a role they held until 2020.

Pedro Silva holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA, earned from 1980 to 1984. Pedro also has a CEAG degree in Finance, General from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, earned from 1986 to 1990. In 2012, Pedro completed the Programa de Desenvolvimento de Conselheiros from Fundação Dom Cabral, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Professional Communication: Business Writing and Storytelling from The Economist, with the year of certification being 2022.
