Elena Molena

Elena Molena is a seasoned professional in battery systems and materials engineering, currently serving as the Battery System Development & Application Team Leader at Iveco Group since September 2022. With previous roles as a BEV Application Engineer at BorgWarner Inc. and an E-powertrain battery cells specialist at Maserati, Elena has developed expertise in lithium-ion batteries, specializing in separators and solid polymer electrolytes. Prior experience includes project leadership at Solvay Specialty Polymers and research positions focusing on smart polymeric materials and luminescent solar concentrators. Elena holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and another in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology from Politecnico di Milano, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
