Gianluca Donato

Gianluca Donato serves as the Charging Ecosystem Lead Engineer at Iveco Group, where leadership of the Electrification Technology team includes overseeing charging and grid integration and managing the technology roadmap. Previously, at FRIEM S.p.A., Gianluca developed a business plan for the E-mobility Business Unit and collaborated on the charging station development roadmap. At E.ON, responsibilities included designing and delivering electric mobility solutions for the B2B Italian market, achieving a successful launch within six months. With a long tenure at ABB, Gianluca progressed through roles such as Product Marketing Manager, where the focus was on electric vehicle infrastructure, and played a key part in marketing and sales strategies for EV chargers. Gianluca holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Università di Pavia and a Lean Passport in Marketing Management from SDA Bocconi.
