Ashish Patel

Ashish Patel PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ashish currently holds the position of Vice President, Sales at Iveric Bio since October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President, Marketing at the same company from February 2022 to October 2022. Before joining Iveric Bio, Ashish worked at Novartis from 2018 to 2021, where they served as the Executive Director & Head - BEOVU from June 2020 to October 2021, and as the Director, HCP Launch Marketing - Retina from June 2018 to June 2020. Ashish also worked at Bayer from 2007 to 2018, holding various roles including Oncology Sales Representative, Director of Global Launch Marketing - EYLEA, Brand Manager, Phillips' Gastrointestinal Portfolio and Bayer Aspirin, and Associate / Assistant Brand Manager, Citracal and Bayer Aspirin. Ashish began their career at Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist in R&D from June 2004 to June 2007.

Ashish Patel PhD completed their education in a chronological order. Ashish earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biophysics from the University of Southern California in 1999. In 2004, they obtained a PhD in Physiology and Biophysics from Stony Brook University. Ashish further pursued their studies and became a Graduate Fellow in Molecular Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2002. Finally, Ashish completed their education by obtaining an MBA degree in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Innovation from NYU Stern School of Business in 2009.
