Markus Walters

Markus Walters is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Ivey Business School at Western University since January 2020, responsible for implementing the Ivey Next strategy and enhancing organizational agility through data governance. Previously, Markus served as the Strategy Program Lead at Ivey, coordinating the development and execution of the strategic plan while managing business continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier in his career, Markus held various positions at the FBI, including Supervisory Intelligence Analyst, where responsibilities included leading teams, managing programs, and producing strategic analysis. Markus also gained experience as a Research Consultant at TorchStone Global and held research-related roles in government and legal settings. Markus holds a Doctor of Law from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
