Michael Drews has more than 25 years into his career, he says studying the origin of life continues to prove both humbling and awe-inspiring. “It’s never lost its wonder for me, from the very first embryo I looked at under a microscope to today,” he says. “It’s inherently fascinating.” The constant introduction of new information and the innovative breakthroughs help keep this field stimulating for him. Michael Drews is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, obstetrician, and gynecologist, Dr. Michael Drews is an associate clinical professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset, NY, and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Mount Sinai Medical School (now the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai).
