George Monk has a long history of work experience. George began their career in 1974 as an Audit Manager at Price Waterhouse. In 1983, they moved to Unisys as a Controller in The Netherlands and Mexico Operations, and later became a Manager on Internal Audit & Manufacturing Group staff. In 1994, they became the Controller at Applied Materials. In 1997, they were the Corporate Controller at Aspect Communications, leading worldwide accounting with annual revenues growing to +/- $500. In 2001, they were the VP Finance and Corporate Controller at Redback Networks, leading worldwide finance, facilities, real estate and travel departments with $200+ million annual revenue. In 2002, they worked as an independent consultant, taking Evolve Software through pre-packaged bankruptcy and taking Extreme Networks through earnings release without a CFO. In 2003, they were the VP Finance at Thoratec Corporation, a heart-pump implant medical device company, planning growth from $150 m to $500+ m annual revenue. In 2005, they were the VP Finance & CFO at Macrovision, a $200+ m revenue publicly quoted software and entertainment rights management company. In 2006, they were the CFO at Insignia Solutions PLC, a publicly quoted Mobile Device Management (MDM) software “restart” with $4+/- m revenue in multiple countries. Lastly, in 2009, they were the VP/COO/CFO of Ivis Technologies LLC, a private web hosted (SaaS) compliance start-up, where they designed and tested platform features and functionality.
