Joel Moses

Joel Moses has a diverse work experience in the field of security management and network analysis. Joel is currently working as the Practice Director of Security Management at iVision since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Plus Consulting from 2012 to 2023, where they held various roles including Security Operations Manager and Senior Security Consultant. Before that, they served as a Network Analyst at West Virginia University Hospitals from 2011 to 2012. Joel also has experience as a System Administrator at WesBanco Bank from 2004 to 2011, where they were responsible for server administration and SQL scripting/reporting to support the processing department and end user environments.

Joel Moses began their education at West Virginia Northern Community College in 2007, where they earned an Associate's in Applied Science in Computer Information Technology, graduating in 2009. Joel then went on to attend DeVry University from 2009 to 2012, obtaining a Bachelor's of Science degree in Network and Communications Management.

Additionally, Joel has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they received certifications in "Designing and Deploying Messaging Solutions with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010" and "Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuring" from Microsoft. In 2013, they also obtained the certifications "Administering and Deploying System Center 2012 Configuration Manager," "Managing and Maintaining Windows 8," "Monitoring and Operating a Private Cloud with System Center 2012," and "Configuring and Deploying a Private Cloud with System Center 2012," all from Microsoft.

In 2014, Joel attained the certifications "Managing Office 365 Identities and Requirements" and "Enabling Office 365 Services," both from Microsoft. In 2015, they obtained the certification "Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012 (MCSE)" from Microsoft, as well as the "Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)" certification from EC-Council.

Joel's certifications continued in 2016 with the achievement of the "Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)" certification from (ISC)². In 2017, they acquired the certifications "Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC)" from ISACA and the "Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)" from (ISC)².
