Rinus Pecht has a wide range of experience in various roles related to sports and education. Currently, Rinus is a volunteer and sports instructor at Gymnastiek- en turnvereniging KDO Deurne. Previously, Rinus has worked as a teacher of physical education at various schools and as a co-author of educational books. Additionally, Rinus has been involved in volunteering for sports at IVO-Deurne and has also worked as a fire breather, draaiorgelman, and jongleur for Tofsport since 1984.

IVO-Deurne, oftewel voluit Instelling Voortgezet Onderwijs Deurne, maakt onderdeel uit van Ons Middelbaar Onderwijs te Tilburg. De instelling bestaat uit de scholen: De Sprong (praktijkonderwijs), Hub van Doornecollege (Vmbo-basis en kader), Alfrinkcollege (Mavo, Vmbo T/G) en Peellandcollege (Havo, Atheneum en Gymnasium).
