Scott Witte has extensive work experience in the field of photography and virtual reality. Scott is currently serving as the President of IVRPA (International Virtual Reality Professionals Association) since February 2022. Prior to this, they owned Tour de Force 360VR, a company specializing in immersive 360 virtual reality imagery, since January 2007. Scott Witte has also owned Scott Witte Photography since 1980 and was a member of Octodea since 2000. Scott served as the Director of IVRPA from August 2008 to January 2013. Additionally, they held various roles in the Advertising Photographers of America (APA), including President of the Midwest Chapter and Chapter Chair, from September 2000 to September 2006. Before their ventures in photography and virtual reality, Witte was the President and Programmer at Business Partner Software from July 1984 to December 1992.
Scott Witte has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they obtained from 1978 to 1979. Scott also has some education in the field of Photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied from 1975 to 1976. Additionally, Scott has attended the Milwaukee Center for Photography from 1976 to 1978. Scott has obtained various certifications in subjects like web design, programming, video editing, and SEO from LinkedIn and Lynda.com.
