Martijn Wieffering has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Martijn currently works as a Project Engineer at IVU Traffic Technologies, starting in January 2021. Before that, they completed a Graduation Internship at Holding Graz from January to September 2020.

In 2018, Martijn had a Graduation Internship at ProRail from February to July. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, including Student Information Officer SLM from September 2015 to July 2018 and Student Assistant from September to December 2016.

Martijn also has experience in retail, having worked as a Retail Salesperson at Van Neerbos Bouwmarkten (Gamma) from June 2015 to September 2017 and at Kringloopwinkel Het Goed from April 2013 to May 2015.

In addition, they completed internships at Connexxion from March to July 2017 and at HTM Personenvervoer N.V. from August 2016 to January 2017. During their earlier years, Martijn also served as a Radio Presenter for Lichtsnel Radio from June 2010 to December 2013.

Martijn Wieffering began their education at Veurs Lyceum Leidschendam, where they completed their HAVO degree with profiles in Nature & Technology and Nature & Health from 2009 to 2014. Martijn then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mobiliteit (Built Environment) with a focus on Transportation/Mobility Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2014 to 2018. During this time, Martijn also took a minor in Rail technology at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in 2017-2018.

After completing their Bachelor's degree, Martijn went on to earn a Master's degree in Energy and Transport Management from FH Joanneum, where they studied from 2018 to 2020. Alongside their academic pursuits, Martijn also obtained several additional certifications. In 2017, they received a forklift certificate from evofenedex. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Minor Rail Technology from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, and a Digitaal Veiligheidspaspoort (Digital Security Passport) from Stichting railAlert.
