Martin Hartwig has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Martin started as a Design Intern at rotor Medien GmbH in 2003, where they collaborated in prepress of advertisements, booklets, websites, and business stationary. Martin also contributed to graphics production for various websites and participated in the design process for corporate designs, image campaigns, and websites.

In 2008, while working as a Student Assistant at Architecture Design Innovation Program (ADIP), TU Berlin, Martin assisted notable architects such as Boštjan Vuga, Prof. Mark Lee, and Jean-Philippe Vassal. Their responsibilities included teaching, organization, research project preparation, design and prepress of print publications, and website administration.

From 2008 to 2012, Martin worked as a Freelance Designer & Developer, handling the design and development of web-based applications and websites. Notably, they designed and developed a hotel room administration and booking software and created a website for showcasing student work of Oxford Brookes University, England.

In 2012, Martin joined netforge Internet & Networks GmbH as a Web Designer & Web Developer. Martin managed projects, communicated with clients, and conducted frontend and backend development. Their responsibilities also included the development of various web services and websites.

Since 2012, Martin has been associated with IVU Traffic Technologies. Martin initially worked as a Webentwickler until 2015, then transitioned to the role of UI Engineer & UI Designer until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Senior UX/UI Designer at the company.

Martin Hartwig has a diverse education history. In 2004, they began studying Architecture at Technische Universität Berlin and completed their Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.) degree in 2015. Following this, in 2017, they attended the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design where they focused on both Interaction Design and Service Design. In terms of additional certifications, Martin obtained a UXQB® Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience Foundation Level in October 2017, and later in August 2018, they achieved the UXQB® Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience Advanced Level in User Requirements Engineering.
