Senior Software Engineer at IVU Traffic Technologies AG

Matthias Pilz has a range of work experience in software engineering, research, tutoring, and teaching. From 2020, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer at IVU Traffic Technologies. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate in Machine Learning at Kingston University from November 2016 to May 2020. In this role, they were the lead researcher for a computer vision project and worked on object detection based on various data inputs. In addition to their formal education, Matthias Pilz has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Matthias earned a certification in "Blockchain for Business - An Introduction to Hyperledger Technologies" from The Linux Foundation in June 2018. In the same month, they also completed a certification course on "Hyperledger Fabric and Composer - First Practical Blockchain" from Udemy. Matthias achieved a certification in "Deep Learning, a 5-course specialization by deeplearning.ai on Coursera" in April 2018 through Coursera. Matthias further obtained a certification in "IBM Blockchain Foundation for Developers" from IBM in April 2018. Prior to that, in July 2017, Matthias completed a certification course on "ED101 - Embracing Diversity" offered by edX. In their professional development, they pursued courses in "Game Theory II: Advanced Applications" and "Game Theory" on Coursera in November and October 2016, respectively. Matthias also obtained the "Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE)" certification from Cambridge University Press in July 2015.
