Kathleen Ramsey, FAAC®, has a diverse range of work experience in various financial aid roles. Kathleen began their career as a Financial Aid Officer at Brown Mackie College - Cincinnati, where they played a pivotal role in determining student eligibility for financial aid and counseling them on their rights and responsibilities as federal student loan borrowers. Kathleen then transitioned to Miami University, where they served as a Financial Aid Counselor, providing guidance to students and parents on eligibility for various aid programs and helping resolve financial aid problems to improve student retention. After their time at Miami University, Kathleen became the Senior Assistant Director for One Stop Student Services, where they supervised a team of professionals and coordinated employee hiring and training. Kathleen also implemented an effective customer service and cross-functional training program for staff. Kathleen's most recent position was as the Director of Financial Aid at Colby Community College, where they oversaw daily operations, ensured compliance with regulations, and trained and supervised staff. Kathleen is currently the Director of Financial Aid at Ivy Tech Community College, where they develop and implements financial aid policies, works closely with stakeholders, and serves as a point of contact between regional and central financial aid departments.

Kathleen Ramsey, FAAC®, holds a B.S. Degree in Social Science, with a major in Sociology and Political Science, from Florida State University. Kathleen also has a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd), with a focus on Higher and Postsecondary Education, from Argosy University.
