Peter Cheng

Peter Cheng is an accomplished General Manager at Xebec since February 2014, overseeing Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Projects in China, as well as business across the Asia Pacific, with a focus on profit and loss management. Prior to this role, Peter served as Principal at A.T. Kearney from August 2008 to February 2014, leading business development and project sales in the energy and process industry. Peter also held the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning at The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited from October 2005 to July 2008, where responsibility included establishing the strategic planning function and advising executives on key operational and investment decisions. Earlier in the career, Peter was a Senior Technical Officer at Ontario Power Generation, specializing in procurement engineering and performance support for nuclear operations, and worked as a Manager at ABB China Limited, focusing on clean coal power generation and technology transfer. Peter Cheng holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a Ph.D. in Turbo-machinery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
