Steve Bolton has been working in the creative content and advertising industry since 2003. Steve began their career as a freelance Senior Copywriter for TBWA/Chiat/Day + Young and Rubicam + Deutsch LA. In 2006, they became an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Long Beach, where they taught Advanced Advertising. In 2009, they became an Advanced 1 Instructor at The Bookshop Advertising School. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Copywriter Freelance at TBWA\\Chiat\\Day, where they were awarded 3 Cannes Gold Lions and a Grand Prix Award for their work on Nissan GT Academy, season 1. In 2012, they joined Saatchi & Saatchi LA as a Digital Associate Creative Director and Writer. From 2015 to 2017, they held the role of Creative Director and Writer at Spark44. In 2017, they became Creative Director at IW Group Inc. and Show Creator / Writer / Cartoonist / Producer at the distillery. In 2019, they took on the role of Managing Editor at Petrolicious. Currently, they are Senior Director, Creative Content/Dev and Sales at Warner Bros. Discovery.
Steve Bolton attended California State University, Long Beach, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design. Steve then attended The Bookshop Ad School Los Angeles, where they obtained an Advertising degree with a Copywriting focus.
