Berit Schmiedendorf

Berit Schmiedendorf has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as stellvertretende Redaktionsleiterin at IW Medien GmbH since 2018 while also holding a similar position since 2008 at the same company. Previously, Berit was a freie Print-Journalistin for Süddeutsche Zeitung and Die Zeit from 2000 to 2008 and worked as a Redakteurin at Süddeutsche Zeitung from 1998 to 2000. Educational achievements include a Volontariat at Süddeutsche Zeitung from 1996 to 1998 and a Master's degree in Germanistik, Philosophie, and Volkswirtschaft from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, obtained between 1993 and 1995, along with various qualifications from IHK Köln.
