Alain Borer

Alain Borer has a diverse work experience in the field of network and security engineering. Alain started their career working as a Network & PC Supporter at Jak Informatik AG from November 1996 to November 1998. Alain then joined Endress+Hauser Group as a System and Network Administrator from November 1998 to April 2001. Alain then moved to Valora Group, where they worked as a Senior Network & Security Engineer from May 2001 to November 2011. After that, they joined Swisslos Interkantonale Landeslotterie as a Senior Network & Security Engineer and held this position from December 2011 to October 2019. Currently, Alain is working as a Network & Security Engineer at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel since November 2019.

Alain Borer started their education in 1993 at the Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar, where they pursued a degree in BTS Automatisme et informatique Industrielle, focusing on information technologies. Alain completed their studies in 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Alain Borer obtained certifications in ITIL Foundation v3 from TÜV SÜD in August 2015 and FCNSP v5 from Fortinet in August 2013.
