Ciia Andreas Reiser

Andreas Reiser, CIIA, has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Andreas started their career at Südwestdeutsche Stromhandels GmbH in 2011, where they worked in Natural Gas Operations, Spot Market Access, and Short Term Optimization until 2015.

From 2015 to 2018, Andreas worked at Alpiq AG, first as a Business Controller (Commerce & Trading) for two years, and then as a Portfolio Analyst.

In 2018, they joined EBL (Genossenschaft Elektra Baselland) as a Portfolio Manager Energy, where they remained until 2021.

Currently, Andreas is working as a Financial Investment Manager Renewable Energy at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel, starting from December 2021.

Andreas Reiser, CIIA, obtained their Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) degree from AZEK - The Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals in 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's level diploma in Business Administration (technically oriented) from the University of Stuttgart between 2005 and 2011. During their academic journey, Andreas also had the opportunity to be a guest student at Oregon State University from 2008 to 2009, where they focused on business, economics, and energy studies. In addition to their formal education, Andreas holds several certifications, including the Energy Risk Professional certification from the GARP ERP Program in 2020, the Finance Theory for Risk Management certification from the University of Zurich in 2017, and the EPEX Spot Trader Certificate from EPEX Spot in 2011, as well as the EEX Spot Trader certification from the European Energy Exchange AG in the same year.
