Franz Gloggner

Franz Gloggner is an experienced professional in energy optimisation and portfolio management, currently working at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel since April 2010, focusing on the optimisation of electrical and natural gas portfolios. Prior to this role, Franz served as the Head of Portfolio Management and Consulting at Alpiq Swisstrade from January 2001 to March 2010, where the focus was advising German utilities on energy portfolio optimisation. Earlier experience at Alpiq includes positions as a Portfolio Manager, providing optimisation advice to both internal and external customers across Germany, France, and Switzerland. Franz holds a Lic. oec. publ. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich and has an educational background from ETH Zürich.
