Martin Albrecht

Martin Albrecht has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Martin started their career as an Analyst/Intern at Saxon Liaison Office at the European Union in 2007. Martin then worked as a Consultant/Intern at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where they focused on municipal management and finance. In 2010, they joined the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) as a Researcher/Intern, working on sustainable energy economy and climate protection projects.

Martin continued their research work at Kungliga tekniska högskolan from 2011 to 2013, where they focused on the future development of high voltage electricity grids in the Nordics. Martin then joined BKW AG as an Energy Economist/Intern, working on energy-related projects.

From 2014 to 2017, Martin worked at Kungliga tekniska högskolan as a Researcher, specifically analyzing the electrification of the transport sector from an innovation system perspective.

Martin'smost recent role is as a Product Manager at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel, starting from September 2017. Overall, Martin has gained valuable experience in research, energy, sustainability, and project management throughout their career.

Martin Albrecht completed their Bachelor of Arts in Public Management & Governance from Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen, between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they studied Economics at Leipzig University from 2005 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Environmental Management & Policy at Lund University from 2009 to 2011.
