Martin Eschle

Martin Eschle is an experienced executive in the energy sector with a strong background in electricity generation, risk management, and business development. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Time-Steps and as the Head of Generation and Portfolio Management at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel, Martin has extensive expertise in optimizing electricity power plants and managing electricity and gas trading. Previous roles include leadership positions at Alpiq AG, where responsibilities encompassed retail sales, demand side management, and market strategy across Western Europe. Martin's solid academic foundation includes a PhD in Physical Chemistry from EPFL, a Bachelor's degree in Economics from HEC Lausanne, and a Master Diploma in Physics from EPFL.
