Roger Maddalena

Roger Maddalena has a diverse work experience in various industries. Roger started their career at mk GmbH as a Mitarbeiter Kundenadministration (Stv. Leiter) from November 1997 to July 2000, and later became a Teamleiter Dispatching CH from August 2000 to February 2004. Roger then worked at Varian Medical Systems Imaging Laboratory GmbH as a Purchasing & Production Assistant (80%) from September 2004 to January 2006, and later as an Information System Project Leader from February 2006 to May 2007. Roger joined Alpiq AG and served as a Gruppenleiter Energy Project Management from July 2007 to April 2014, and subsequently as a Leiter Bilanzgruppen- und Energiedatenmanagement Sales from May 2014 to March 2015. Roger also worked at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel as a Leiter Energielogistik from April 2015 to March 2016, and then as a Leiter Operative Vertriebssteuerung from April 2016 to April 2017. Subsequently, they returned to the role of Leiter Energielogistik from May 2017 to February 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Leiter Back Office Energiehandel at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel starting from March 2019. Throughout their career, Roger Maddalena has been involved in various roles such as project management, operational sales control, logistics management, energy data management, and customer administration.

Roger Maddalena obtained a Kaufmännische Berufsmaturität degree in 1997 from HKV Aarau. Roger then pursued a degree in Marketing and completed their Eidg. dipl. Betriebsökonom FH (BBA) from Zürcher Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft und Verwaltung (HWZ) in 2005.

Additionally, Roger has obtained several certifications in recent years. In 2021, they obtained certifications such as Microsoft Power BI-Expert, Cloud-Computing lernen: Grundlegende Konzepte, Ihr Weg zum Microsoft Business Intelligence-Experten, T-SQL lernen, and Power Query für Fortgeschrittene (Excel und Power BI Desktop; 365/2019) from LinkedIn.
