Alyson Lamb has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Alyson started their career as a Registered Nurse at Nova Scotia Health Authority in 2005 and held various roles, including Quality and Patient Safety Leader and Health Services Manager. In 2017, they joined IWK Health and Nova Scotia Health as the Director of Nursing and Professional Practice and later became the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer in 2020.

Alyson Lamb earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Guelph between 1999 and 2003. Alyson later pursued Registered Nursing at the University of Toronto from 2003 to 2005. Alyson completed their education with a Master's degree in Nursing and Health Administration from Dalhousie University between 2010 and 2013.
