Anita Smith is a highly experienced medical professional with a focus on urogynaecology and pelvic floor reconstruction. As a Co-Founder of NoVa Women's Health & Laser Clinic since 2019, Anita contributes to advancing women's health services. Currently, Anita serves as a Urogynaecologist and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Surgeon at IWK Health Centre and also holds the position of Fellowship Director in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction at Dalhousie University, where Anita is also an Assistant Professor. Anita's extensive education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Dalhousie University, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a specialized fellowship in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction. Anita began an academic journey at Mount Allison University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
