Chief Of Pediatric Critical Care at IWK Health

Jennifer Foster has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jennifer has been working at IWK Health since 2014, initially as a Consultant in Pediatric Critical Care and later as the Chief of Pediatric Critical Care. At EHS Lifeflight, they have served as a Medical Control Physician and a Pediatric Medical Oversight Physician since 2014. Foster has also worked at Dalhousie University as an Assistant and Associate Professor since 2014. Prior to that, they were a Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care at Children's Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Pediatric Intensive Care Registrar at Royal Children's Hospital from 2009 to 2010. Foster gained experience as a Clinical Associate, Pediatric Intensive Care Fellow, and Pediatric Resident at Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario from 2003 to 2008. Jennifer began their career in 2004 as a Summer student researcher at IWK Health Centre.

Jennifer Foster completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from McGill University from 1995 to 1999. From 1999 to 2003, they attended Dalhousie University and obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine.
