Krista Meagher has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Krista started their career as a LTC Budgets and Finance Student at NS Department of Health and Wellness in 2003. Krista then worked as an Audit Junior at Hunter Belgrave Adamson in 2005 and as an Audit Senior at Grant Thornton LLP (Canada) from 2006 to 2009.

In 2009, Krista joined IWK Health as a Senior Financial Analyst and later progressed to the role of Manager Finance Client Experience & Comptroller in 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Interim Director Financial Services & Treasury at IWK Health.

Krista Meagher attended Mount Saint Vincent University from an unknown start year to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. Following that, they enrolled in the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountants from 2006 to 2007, obtaining their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials in Accounting and Finance. Additionally, in 2007, they acquired the Chartered Accountant certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
