Roshanak Sadeghi-Zadeh

Roshanak Sadeghi-Zadeh, CPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Roshanak is currently serving as the Director of People and Belonging at IWK Health since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Human Resources Manager at Halifax Public Libraries from June 2017 to June 2021. Roshanak also served as the Human Resources Supervisor and Training Specialist at Nova Scotia Housing Authorities HR Services from August 2014 to June 2017. Roshanak has also worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at BOMBARDIER from June 2010 to May 2014. Before that, they gained experience as a Training Specialist in adult education at Omnicom School of Languages from February 2005 to May 2010. Lastly, they started their career as an Instructor at CCBC (Canadian College of Business and Computer) from September 2002 to January 2005.

Roshanak Sadeghi-Zadeh, CPHR, SHRM-SCP has a graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Seneca Polytechnic. Roshanak also holds a certificate in Adult learning and Continuing Education and Teaching from LaSalle College. Roshanak is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) certified by CPHR Nova Scotia. Additionally, they obtained a Master's of Science in Physics from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Roshanak has a certificate in The Leadership Suite from the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) and a certificate in Leadership Development Program from the Government of Nova Scotia. Roshanak also has a Negotiation Skills Certificate from Queen's University and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from The Barrington Consulting Group/HRM. Furthermore, they completed a Change Management program at Queen's University. Roshanak's additional certification is the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, obtained in August 2024.
