Seema Desai

Seema Desai is the current Chief Operating Officer at iwoca, a position they have held since September of 2018. Prior to their current role, they served as a board member for the Digital Impact Alliance from October 2016 to September 2018. From January 2016 to January 2017, they were the Head of Product at Zopa. Ms. Desai began their career in 2000 as a Strategy Manager at Accenture before moving on to HBOS in 2006 as the Head of Halifax and Bank of Scotland Retail Savings Products. In 2009, they joined GSMA as the Head of Mobile Money and remained in that role until 2015.

Seema Desai would have completed their class 1 education in natural sciences at the University of Cambridge.

They work with Jake Mellet - Head of Marketing, William Hayes - Head of Engineering, and Mark Richens - Head of Credit Risk. Seema Desai reports to James Dear, CTO / Founder.
